Subject Leader

As subject lead for Art and Design, I have the task of ensuring that our pupils have the opportunities to develop the skills and interest that enables them to enjoy creating and appreciating all kinds of art and craft.

When I have the chance, I love to visit galleries, and particularly like ceramics and glass.  One of my favourite ways to relax is to make things with textiles or wool.  I enjoy weaving, making rag rugs, crochet and embroidery – crafts that have passed down the generations in Lancashire families.
